Glenburn Tea Estate lies in the hills of Darjeeling, where tea has been grown against the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas for generations. Established in 1859, Glenburn is today cared for by the Prakash family, whose connection to tea planting spans four generations.
The landscape is part of what makes Darjeeling so distinctive. Mountain air, changing seasons, rainfall and elevation all influence the character of the leaf, creating teas prized for their aromatic, refined nature.
In the cup, our Glenburn Darjeeling is bright and elegant, with delicate floral notes and gentle hints of stone fruit and citrus. It has enough character to linger, while remaining beautifully light and refreshing.

100% Darjeeling Black Tea
HOW TO BREW
🌿 1–2 tsp per 250 mL
💧 Freshly drawn water (95°C)
⏱ Steep 3–4 minutes
🍵 Try it without milk first to appreciate its delicate floral and citrus character.
The leaves may be infused a second time. Allow the second infusion a little longer and enjoy the softer character that remains in the leaf.
FOR THE TEA CURIOUS
Darjeeling is shaped by the seasons.
Unlike teas designed to taste exactly the same throughout the year, Darjeeling can change noticeably according to when the leaves are harvested. Spring, summer, monsoon and autumn each bring their own character to the cup.
Start with a 3-minute infusion and taste before allowing it to steep longer. A shorter brew will emphasise its lighter, more aromatic qualities, while a little extra time will produce a fuller cup.
Fine tea doesn't have one perfect setting — part of the pleasure is finding the brew that tastes perfect to you.
